From the film description in the programme of the Tromsø International Film Festival at the premiere in 2015:

“Monster” - A film by Carl Christian Lein Størmer and Per Martinsen.

'Monster' is essentially an ode to The Outsider in every shape and form. We follow our yet unnamed protagonist, as portrayed by stellar actor Eno Ishtar, through a - for him - quite normal day, where he shares his innermost thoughts and dreams on issues like health, love, work and social life. His main goal is to understand and engage in the world around him. But he is constantly haunted by the feeling that he doesn't quite fit in …

Carl Christian Lein Størmer and Per Martinsen are both from Tromsø, Northern Norway, and together they fill all roles behind the creation of “Monster”. Carl as director, cameraman and editor, Per as scriptwriter, composer, sound designer plus head of casting and production. The duo were also heavily involved in the making of the film “Ghost Radio Hunter” (2013), but exactly to what extent the public might never learn to know.
