DEPTH SOLITUDE (DYPETS ENSOMHET)

This is the first film I was commissioned to write music for, or actually, it was my friend Øyvind Aarlid AKA DJ Geronimo who first landed the gig, and asked me for assistance to do the score, but due to unforseen circumstances I spent most of my days alone in the studio writing the music. But all in all this was the assignment that sparked my interest in writing music for moving images.

The film was shown at Lecarno International Film Festival and New York Film Festival and was the winner of Best Short Film at the Norwegian Amanda Awards in 1995, and at the Brussels International Festival of Fantasy Film in 1996.
